Suncor Aggregate Crushing - Fort McMurray, Alberta

In April of 2006, Suncor Energy asked our company if we would be interested in Crushing 700,000 tonnes of granular material for the Stage 3 expansion of the Firebag Project located 130 kilometers north of Fort McMurray, Alberta deep in the heart of the Oil Sands.  Interested we were and were on an airplane the next day to look at the potential aggregate source.  The job proceeded with great success and was a great experience for our company.
